Day 01: Delhi
Begin your tour.
Arrive into Delhi.
Welcome to Vardhman's "Rajasthan Cultural Tour". On arrival
in Delhi, you will be met and transferred by Vardhman's representative
to your hotel.
Later proceed on a city tour of Delhi
Combined city tour of New & Old Delhi.
Later proceed on a tour of the city, which includes the main attraction
like Qutab Minar, Humayun's tomb, Lakshminarayan Temple, a modern
Hindu Temple, Parliament House, Government Secretarial Building and
Connaught place, the shopping centre of New Delhi.
Visit Red Fort, built in 1648 by Mughal Emperor Shahjehan, Jama Masjid,
one of the largest Mosque of India, Raj Ghat and Shanti Vana, the
cremation sites of Mahatama Gandhi and Jawaharlal Nehru. Also drive
past Chandni Chowk, shopping centre of Old Delhi.

Day 02 : Delhi - Mandawa
This morning after breakfast drive to Mandawa. Mandawa was founded
in 1755 by Thakur Nawal Singh and is still the home of his descendants.
Mandawa houses a collection of armories, costumes of ancestors,
canons from 1820, ancient coins, numismatic collection and many
other interesting items preserved in a museum. The whole area of
Shekhavati has beautiful frescoes, havelis & mansions and is
called the open air gallery.
Upon arrival at Mandawa check into your hotel.
Afternoon visit Havelies in Shekhawati Region etc.

Day 03 : Mandawa - Bikaner
After breakfast drive to Bikaner. Bikaner is bolstered by imposing
walls and has a 16th century fort housing old palaces, temples and
a mosque. Founded by Raja Rai Singh, the fort is distinguished by
its long range of 37 pavilions, a line of balconies and aerial windows
of varying designs. An enormous arched doorway leads to the Joramal
Temple. The royal chapel is Har Mandir where royal weddings and
births were once celebrated.
Upon arrival at Bikaner check into your hotel.

Day 04 : Bikaner
This morning after breakfast visit Lallgarh Palace, the museum,
Bhanda Sagar Jain and Deshnoke Temple.
Afternoon visit Camel Breeding Farm.

Day 05 : Bikaner - Jaisalmer
After breakfast drive to Jaisalmer. Upon arrival at Jaisalmer
Check into your hotel.
Rest of the day at leisure.

Day 06 : Jaisalmer
After breakfast proceed for sightseeing of The Golden City -
Jaisalmer. It is in the heart of the Great Indian Desert. Its temple,
fort and palaces are all built of yellow stone. The city is a mass
of intricately carved buildings, facades and elaborate balconies.
Visit the JAISALMER FORT - The oldest living Fort in the world.
Afternoon visit Sam Dunes with camel ride.

Day 07 : Jaisalmer - Jodhpur
Today after breakfast drive to Jodhpur.Upon arrival at Jodhpur
check into your hotel.
Later proceed for sightseeing of Jodhpur - gateway to the desert
beyond, home of the Rathores of Marwar, visit the Mehrangarh Fort,
rising up a hilly scarp, built on the advice of a hermit, overlooking
the city in the image of a long sentinel. Inside the Fort are a
number of palaces added by successive rulers. In this palace you
would see different miniature paintings & cradle room. After
this you would visit Jaswant Thada Memoria.Visit the museum of UMAID
BHAWAN PALACE.

Day 08 : Jodhpur - Kumbhalgarh
After breakfast drive to Kumbhalgarh. Upon arrival at Kumbhalgarh
check into your hotel.
Afternoon visit Kumbhalgarh Fort.
Kumbhalgrh Fort (alt 1,087 m) was the second most important fort
of the Mewar Kingdom after Chittaurgarh. Built mostly by Maharana
Kumba (1485), it is situated on a West facing ridge of the Aravallis,
commanding a great strategic position on the border between the
Rajput Kingdoms of Udaipur (Mewar) and Jodhpur (Marwar).

Day 09 : Kumbhalgarh - Udaipur
This morning after breakfast drive to Udaipur enroute visit
Ranakpur temples. Ranakpur - 98 kms from Udaipur, the Jain Temples
built in the 15th century are situated in the lovely valley of the
Aravali. Its surrounding is quiet and picturesque. Ranakpur has
grand structures and beautiful sculpture. There are 1444 pillars
in the temple and none of them are similar.Surya Temple and other
Jain Temples are side attractions.
Upon arrival at Udaipur check into your hotel.

Day 10 : Udaipur
Today morning after breakfast proceed on a city tour of Udaipur.
Visit the City Palace, Jagdish Temple, drive around Fatehsagar Lake,
Sahelion ki bari (Queen's resort for her friends) and Bhartiya Lok
Kala Mandir (Folk art museum)

Day 11 : Udaipur - Kota
After breakfast drive to Kota enroute visit Chittaurgarh. Upon
arrival at Kota check into your hotel.
Later proceed on a city tour of Kota
Brijraj Bhawan Palace, a colonial style palace, situated on the
bank of river Chambal, was build in the early nineties. The palace
has large spacious rooms that are tastefully done up with antique
furniture. An intresting feature of the palace is the fact that
almost all the rooms overlook the Chambal river providing an arrresting
view of the mighty river.

Day 12 : Kotah - Bundi - Ranthambhore
This morning after breakfast drive to Ranthambhore enroute visit
Bundi On arrival, check-in at the hotel.

Day 13 : Ranthambhore - Jaipur
Morning jeep safari to view the wildlife (Sanctuary remains
close from Jul. to Sep.)
Afternoon drive to Jaipur and check-in at the hotel.

Day 14 : Jaipur
After breakfast, excursion to Amber Fort enroute witness the
façade of Hawa Mahal or the Palace of Winds which was built
in 1799. Amber Fort - The ancient capital of the state until 1727
when Jai Singh decided to move from his hillside fortress at Amber
to new site on the plains. The construction of this fort began in
1592 by Raja Man Singh, the Rajput commander of Akbars army.
The fort is a superb example of Rajput architecture, stunningly
situated on a hillside and overlooking a lake which reflects its
terraces and ramparts. Visit the Jagmandir or the hall of victory
glittering with mirrors, Jal Mahal & temple of Kali. Ascend
on elephant back, the hill, on which the fort is situated.Afternoon,
city tour of Jaipur. Visit the Jantar Mantar the observatory built
by Jai Singh in 1728; the City Palace which is a blend of Rajasthani
and Mughal architecture. It also has a museum with an extensive
collection of art, carpets, paintings, enamel ware and weapons dating
back to the 15th century.

Day 15 : Jaipur -Fatehpur Sikri- Agra
After breakfast drive to Jaipur enroute visit Fatehpur Sikri.
FATEHPUR SIKRI : The deserted, red Sandstone City, Emperor Akbar
built that as his capital and palace in the late 16th century is
an exhilarating experience. It a veritable fairytale city and its
"ruins" are in pristine condition ... it's not hard to
imagine what the court life must have been like in the days of it's
grandeur. Also visit the Buland Darwaza, the largest gateway in
the world.
Upon arrival at Agra check into your hotel.

Day 16 : Agra - Delhi
This morning after breakfast proceed on a city tour of Agra
Visit Taj Mahal (Closed on Monday & Friday), Red fort &
Tomb of Itmad-ud-Daula. Later you will visit a marble gallery -
the flagship store in Agra which offers an excellant range of white
marble, fashionable wear & exotic wooden articles, truly a one
stop shop!
Later drive back to Delhi. On arrival at Delhi transfer to airport/railway
station to catch flight/train for your onward destination with sweet
and unforgettable memories of "Rajasthan Cultural Tour"
